Marcia Boyd is an entrepreneur and retired educational leader with over 27 years of experience in postsecondary and secondary education.
As a first-generation African American college graduate from a single-parent home, she earned both a B.S. in Economics and an M.A. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Chicago State University. She was awarded scholarships as an undergraduate and graduate student and has no student loan debt. In 2015, she developed Financial Aid 4 Success, LLC and in 2016, she launched a successful vending machine business.
Marcia is a member of several professional organizations, including the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Black Women in Higher Education, and the National Notary Association.
Marcia has been an Illinois Notary Public since 2015, a successful vending machine owner and operator since 2016 and has been a financial literacy instructor for over ten years.
